Dairy Farmers of Canada Cheese Seminars
Dairy Farmers of Canada will be hosting seminars on Canadian cheeses
over three days at the West Coast Christmas Show.
Reg Hendrickson, a chef, cheese expert and consultant with Dairy Farmers of
Canada will guide you through a sensory experience and help you discover six
varieties of cheeses made from 100% Canadian milk. Sharing his knowledge of
the different characteristics of fresh, soft, semi-soft, firm and hard cheeses,
Reg will provide some tips on how to handle cheese, learn how to smell ,feel,
look and taste cheese as well as give advice on tasty pairings with wine and
beer.
In addition to culinary school, deli and consumer seminars, Reg offers classes
and workshops on Canadian cheeses and wines with the Okanagan Wine Festival
Society and Dairy Farmers of Canada. His background as a chef and educator facilitates
his ability to present a fun and fact-filled seminar which will awaken your
taste buds.
