Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada – If you’re looking to escape the shopping mall crowds and find gifts made by local companies and artisans, then come to the Home of Christmas Shopping: the West Coast Christmas Show & Artisan Marketplace on November 16 to 18, 2018 at the TRADEX Trade and Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford, BC. Nearly 250 vendors, including over 150 select artisans will offer items for your friends and loved ones, items not found in the usual mall outlets.

NEW THIS YEAR:
MMINIATURE DOLLHOUSE DISPLAY
The West Coast Christmas Show is pleased to host the inaugural appearance of the Miniature Christmas Dollhouse Display, displays are brought to you by the “Vancouver Dollhouse Miniature Show with submissions from the members of the Miniature Club of BC., a showcase of a Christmas themed dollhouse and a variety of “vignettes” or “Roomboxes”, themed rooms in various sizes.
TEDDY BEAR HOSPITAL
Bring your damaged teddy bears and stuffies to the onsite Teddy Bear Hospital for consultation and repairs with the specialists.
The doctors at our Teddy Bear Hospital have been very busy repairing bears, other soft sculptured animals and dolls. Most of the accidents have occurred by the mouths of dogs – please protect your favorite stuffies from your live pets. The BC Artisan Marketing Society’s SHARING TREE
In co-operation with ARTISAN, SHARON HUBBARD
To benefit the local charitable organizations participating in the FESTIVAL OF TREES
For a minimum donation of $5 you may write a card and place it on one of the Share Trees and keep one of the artisan’s handmade ornaments from the tree as a keepsake of your contribution.
NEW This Year, Sharon has created large goose egg tree decorations in addition to the smaller chicken egg and clam shell ornaments. The larger goose eggs are by a $10 donation.
Santa’s helpers are ready to help children decorate and take home their very own free Christmas cookie baked fresh by our chefs in Santa’s Workshop.
Kids can create their own Sand Art, pictures created with coloured sand.
Kids can write their own letter to Santa and post the letter direct in his own Santa’s Mailbox, right here at the show in Santa’s Workshop.
NEW This Year: Mini Plant Nite Terrarium Workshop for Kids: Let your kids get creative! Guided by a local artist/gardener, each child creates their own living terrarium, all planting supplies are included.
CN’s Operation Lifesaver will be conducting interactive, playful safety lessons on Safety on/near Railway property for Children to Adults
Kids and adults will marvel at the intricate HO Scale model train layout and working model trains on the huge track, set up by the Southern BC Free-Mo model train enthusiasts.
The Bandits Basketball Team will be appearing at Santa’s Playground!!!
